Luc Verlain was born at the Atlantic coast of Nouvelle-Aquitaine and rushed to get away from the dull countryside to start a career in Paris at the Police Nationale. All was fine and he was successful until his father fell ill and Luc decided to return to Bordeaux for some months. On the spur of the moment he gets involved in complex top-class murder cases and may prove his abilities to investigate and solve the criminal mess. Luc Verlain wurde an der Atlantikküste von Nouvelle-Aquitaine geboren und beeilte sich, dem tristen Landleben zu entfliehen, um in Paris Karriere bei der Police Nationale zu machen. Alles war gut und er war sehr erfolgreich, bis sein Vater erkrankte und Luc beschloss, für einige Monate nach Bordeaux zurückzukehren. Sofort wird er in komplexe, hochkarätige Mordfälle verwickelt und kann seine Fähigkeiten als Ermittler bei Aufklärung des kriminellen Durcheinanders unter Beweis stellen. Kurzum: er bleibt im Süden, lernt das Landleben zu lieben – und vor allem seine Vorzüge wie Wein und hervorragendes Essen, schöne Frauen und … mehr.
